Submissions

The Washington Journal of Social and Environmental Justice invites submissions for papers focused on how the legal landscape of today contends with contemporary issues of social and environmental justice.

Submitted papers may focus on law and policy addressing any legal topic which reasonably relates to the ongoing project of an equitable and just society. For example, pieces touching on environmental justice, feminist jurisprudence, civil rights, labor rights, or Tribal rights, would all be perfectly suitable for publication. Our editors will read and review each submission carefully, and select those which they feel are particularly thorough, persuasive, and well-written for publication.

The Washington Journal of Social and Environmental Justice follows the citation and grammatical guides, respectively, of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st ed.), and The Redbook: A Manual on Legal Style (2d ed.). Articles submitted for review will receive careful attention from multiple student editors, who will consider the novelty, timeliness, persuasiveness, and overall writing quality of the writing.

Please send any questions via email.
